The St. Albert Raiders are proud to announce Ryan Wilkinson as the Head Coach of the U15 AAA Sabres for the 2025–2026 season.
Ryan brings over 15 years of experience in elite hockey development, with a strong focus on player growth, performance systems, and skill advancement. Most recently, Ryan served as an Assistant Coach at Williams College (NCAA) and previously held the role of Graduate Assistant Coach with the University of Nebraska Omaha.
His coaching career also includes several years with the CSSHL, where he worked as Head Coach and Assistant Coach at the U15 level and Head Skills Coach across U15, U16, and U18. During his time in the CSSHL, he played a key role in advancing and developing players, including 10 NHL draft picks, 4 Canadian World Junior team members, and nearly 50 WHL draft selections.

Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Kinesiology and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. A former defenseman, Ryan played in the SPHL, NCAA, and AJHL, including time with the St. Albert Steel and Calgary Mustangs.
Notably, Ryan is a former player with the 2004–2005 U15 AAA Sabres, making him uniquely qualified to lead the team in the upcoming season. His journey from Sabres player to U15 AAA Head Coach is a testament to his passion and commitment to coaching.
Ryan's extensive coaching experience, player-first coaching philosophy, passion for player development, and strong ties to the St. Albert hockey community make him a tremendous addition to our U15 AAA program.
